Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Everyone!

Yes, it's that time of year again and Gary and I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Everyday each and every one of us has many things to be thankful for, although I know it's tricky to remember this at times.

That's why it's important to recognize the wonderful people in our lives at this special time of year and remember all the things we're grateful for.

I'd like to share the top 5 things I'm grateful for this year:

1. My wonderful family members who support me and love me unconditionally.
2. For my amazing friends who are there for me through the ups and downs.
3. For learning more everyday....about myself, about others, about my job and about the world!
4. My staying committed to my goal of exercising 3x/week
5. For this special time of year when I get together with my loved ones.

What about you...What are you grateful for this year? Share your thoughts and reflections below!

There's one last I want to share with you today....

Gary has a special treat for you and I think you're going to love it!
Don't worry, it's not Halloween, no tricks attached :)

It's just his way of expressing gratitude to you in the spirit of this occasion.

Stay tuned for more info....

Until then, enjoy spending time with your loved ones and Happy Thanksgiving!

The Power of Determination

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.

There is nobody on the face of this planet who got something without first making the decision to try. It may seem scary at first, but you can do it.

Shortcut to Happiness…

Has this ever happened to you?

You set your eye on a goal, you build up your motivation, you work out your plan of action, and then...

... a bunch of naysayers pull you down.

Well, it's during times like these that you need to remember the pursuit of happiness lies in listening to the only person that truly matters--YOU.

Setbacks are Inevitable. Failure is Optional.

I'm not going to lie to you.

The road to success is a rocky road for everyone. There is no super-formula to avoid setbacks. And I cannot show you a path to success that is paved in gold.

However, successful people know that failure is optional, and they know how to use whatever obstacles that come their way as stepping stones and not as roadblocks.

Welcome to the Goal Sensei Blog

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting!

I will be posting some great goal-setting and goal-getting information here on a regular basis. Hopefully you find this info interesting and useful!

I'll be sure to include some of my favorite material from other people, interesting stories I come across in the news and of course I'll share some of my favorite personal material as well.

Today I want to share a quote with you from Napoleon Hill. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Napoelon Hill, he was one the great authors on the topic of personal success and goal achievement. His book, Think and Grow Rich, is a great read!

Here's the quote:

"Before success comes in any man's life, he's sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That's exactly what the majority of men do."
Napoleon Hill

I truly believe in this quote and I want to stress that it's important for people to realize that failure is a natural part of the successful path.

Do NOT be discouraged by the set backs you experience in your life. Rather, look at them as an opportunity to grow and learn. Most importantly, remember these lessons for the future and apply them!

Do you want to be "the majority"? Didn't think so!

Enjoy,

Gary Ryan Blair
