Sometimes we feel like a lot stands between us and the goals we are shooting for.

I just wanted to share this video of Michael Jordan as a reminder of the biggest thing that stands between us and our goals.

    Thanks Gary :)

We really want to supercharge ourselves from time to time.

we can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection.

give any trouble in your life a great smile, and i believe that it will pass.

Michael Jordan did/does have a God given gift, he just honed it...there are people that have worked twice as hard and haven't gotten half of the results that MJ did. This video should come with a disclaimer stating that results are not typical.

I understand what he's saying. We see celebrities having the good life and want it but don't see the hardships they go through just as we do to get there. I understand now what has stopped me all these years was not trusting the failures and lessons I have been through as gifts to a higher calling in anything I descide to do with my life. Now that I have lived through a great deal I can believe in myself and not feel fear or nervous about whether I have something to offer others when I know now I have a great deal to offer the world, thanks to my failures or hardships.

Mr. Arbo, your comment resonates profoundly with my own perceptions and interpretations of what has transpired in my own life. It is so interesting to see (read) the different stages various people in this global village are at; to see and connect with those just coming out of excuse- ville and those hungry and grateful for the inspiration and motivation; and then those that "get it", and want to move forward without blame or shame. Finally, "progress" is positive and attainable and we are able to connect with the concept. Mr. Blair, along with my other mentors (virtual or otherwise) has done so simply and succinctly what all leaders in every social environment should, and contributed to the blinders coming off, not conning us into useless repetition of self- defeating cycles. I'd almost forgotten how good I was! Thank you to Mr. Blair and his team, and this forum, for renewed hope and vitality for the future! My Future!!

The previous comments were spot on. Honest self assessment and acceptance of our failures, challenges, etc are keys to our moving forward and creating the outcomes that we want. I am in that space right having had some very rough challenges. However, I am very excited about the opportunities ahead of me. I supercharged with ideas and possibilities. I believe that my greatest achievements are still ahead of me.
